"He doesn't care who you are — only what you can trade."— Lamang Operator, source unknown
Vulture was active in the underground weapons trade long before the Lamang evacuation. When the island collapsed into chaos, he saw what everyone else missed — an opportunity.
While PMC factions fought over territory, Vulture moved quietly through the wreckage, building a black market empire in the shadow of military collapse. No faction claims him. No faction controls him.
He doesn't stay in one place. Every Monday, Vulture relocates to two Major CoPs across Lamang. Which ones — that changes weekly. Finding him is half the job.
He operates outside the FOB system entirely. No radio contact, no advance notice. You show up at the right CoP at the right time, or you miss him.
Vulture pulls gear from operators who died and never came back for it. He repairs everything to at least 95% durability before it hits his inventory. Fallen player weapons, salvaged attachments, items you can't get from any other vendor.
Higher ranks unlock static items — including the only safes available in the game, and exclusive weapon variants tied to blueprints.
Vulture doesn't deal in standard weapons or armor. He trades in High Value Loot — watches, jewelry, electronics, credit cards, rare alcohol. The kind of things that have value outside a warzone.
He pays less than market rate. Half, typically. But the reputation he gives in return is what unlocks his deeper inventory. It's not a transaction — it's a relationship.
| Mechanic | Details |
|---|---|
| Reset Schedule | Every Monday at 12:00 PM UTC (8:00 AM Eastern). Two new CoP locations each week. |
| Location | Always at exactly two Major CoPs simultaneously. Never at FOBs or minor outposts. |
| Rep System | Reputation only increases when you sell HVL to Vulture. Buying from him earns nothing. Rep cannot be lost. |
| Gear Quality | All items in his inventory are at minimum 95% durability. If a dropped item was below that threshold, he repairs it before selling. |
| Dynamic Inventory | Weapons and gear come from actual player deaths on that server. His stock is a direct reflection of who's been dying and leaving loot behind. |
| Static Inventory | A handful of items are always available regardless of player activity. These unlock progressively with rank. |
| Pricing | Vulture pays approximately 50% of the best market offer for HVL. The rep gain is the real currency. |
| Safes | Vulture is the only vendor in the game who sells stash safes. Small safe at Rank 3, Large safe (108 slots) at Rank 4. |
| Blueprints | Weapon camo variants unlock through Range & Rifle Magazines found across Lamang. Complete the task, and the variant becomes purchasable. |
Lamang keeps its secrets. These questions remain open.
